Back when we were on Guam, Cliffton said to Annabelle, “Don’t get anything else out and make more of a mess or I’ll punch you in the stomach.” Annabelle just laughed in response, because she knew her dad was joking and would never actually do that. (Don’t judge our parenting skills and sarcasm 🤪) Annabelle knows the character of her father. 

It occurs to me that not everyone has had a relationship like that with their earthly father. But when we know the character of our 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘭𝘺 Father, we can have a better understanding of our circumstances. Even when we are going through a tough season, we can know that 𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. 𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐮𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐮𝐬.
