Be Yourself and Stop Trying to be “Perfect”

Be so completely yourself that everyone else feels safe to be themselves too πŸ’œ

I always struggled so much worrying about what others thought of me. What a waste of time and anxiety. I wish it didn’t take me 40 years to realize that what people want from you is… YOU. For you to be completely yourself. Sure, there will always be someone that doesn’t like you. But they just aren’t your people, and that’s OK! πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
You can’t live your life trying to fit the mold of each person around you. You have to be πŸ’― yourself. And when you are, you will be amazed at how others feel more comfortable being around you. 😊
If someone is trying so hard to be their idea of “perfect” and others believe they actually are, more than likely they will intimidate others and people will feel bad about themselves around them and like they can’t measure up. So flaunt your flaws, scars, imperfections, and it will make everyone around you more comfortable in doing the same.

I am a military wife, mom, foster mom and most importantly... I LOVE me some Jesus! Over the last few years, I've realized how refreshing, and important, it is to be completely vulnerable. I have struggled with depression and anxiety, and opening up about it has helped so many people open up to me as well! I live to encourage and inspire others. Thank you for getting to know me! If you are reading this, I have already prayed for you... that you will leave here feeling refreshed, encouraged, and feeling the love that Jesus has for YOU!
